Master plan for the ecological restoration of Bhandir Van
Project overview₹3.5 CrFunding required

The proposal envisions the ecological restoration of 13.7 hectares of the sacred Bhandir Van by reviving its ancient Braj forest ecosystem through the Heartfulness ecological restoration method. The project focuses on removing invasive species, restoring soil health, and planting diverse native Braj tree species to recreate the original forest character.

Eco-friendly nature trails, rainwater harvesting structures, wetlands, groundwater recharge systems, and irrigation water storage will enhance the site’s ecological resilience. The restored forest will serve as a living landscape that conserves biodiversity, supports wildlife, preserves the spiritual and cultural heritage of Braj, and provides a peaceful environment for meditation, learning, and nature-based experiences for future generations.
