Project overview₹0.8 CrFunding required

The Model Nursery at Sunrakh, Vrindavan, developed by Forests by Heartfulness, is envisioned as a dedicated center for the propagation, conservation, and supply of native plant species for the Braj region. Spread over 3.24 hectares (8 acres), the nursery is designed to produce high-quality indigenous trees, shrubs, grasses, climbers, and medicinal plants that are ecologically suited to the semi-arid landscape and cultural heritage of Braj.

The nursery will serve as a reliable source of planting material for urban greenery, avenue plantations, ecological restoration, sacred groves, waterbody rejuvenation, biodiversity parks, and large-scale afforestation projects across Mathura, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Barsana, Nandgaon and surrounding areas. Equipped with modern facilities such as polyhouses, net houses, mist chambers, soil preparation units, composting, biochar processing, and hardening zones, it will ensure the production of healthy, climate-resilient saplings throughout the year.
