About the project

The Proposed Water Museum, Mathura is a unique 5-hectare experiential destination that celebrates the sacred relationship between water, nature and Indian heritage. Blending traditional water wisdom with modern conservation technologies, the museum will feature interactive exhibits, water treatment demonstrations, experiential landscapes, research facilities and recreational spaces.

Designed around a symbolic circular water flow inspired by ancient Indian planning, it promotes sustainable practices such as rainwater harvesting, renewable energy, native landscaping and water recycling. More than a museum, it will serve as a centre for education, tourism, innovation and environmental awareness, inspiring visitors to appreciate and conserve our most precious natural resource.
